The event was the result of the collaboration between symphoniaASSAI and Morning Tears, a non-profit organization dedicated to the defense of children’s rights around the world, with actual projects in China, Cambodia, Ecuador, Tanzania and Russia (www.morningtears.be).
The program includes impressionist masterpieces by French composers Gabriel Fauré, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel and their Belgian contemporary Joseph Jongen, whose harp concerto was performed by harpist Anneleen Lenaerts as soloist together with symphoniaASSAI, conducted by her brother Wouter Lenaerts.
